This winter, let your child participate in a variety of fun indoor activities with Yellow Class “Winter Camp 2021”. They will learn flameless cooking, new dance forms, warli art, along with improving their personality and general knowledge. To make it more fun, there will be Christmas trivia & more planned for kids. Enroll your kids and allow them to learn new skills while having fun.

Bolly-Waack Dance Style : "Dil Le Gayi Le Gayi"

Let's get ready to learn a whole new dance style called Bolly Waack. This dance style combines Bollywood and Waacking moves to create a powerful dance style. You'll learn some strong hand moves, shifts, and hits while maintaining synchronized leg movements.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Water Bottle

Shuffle Dance Style : "Lover"

Hey Little Groovers, get ready to set the dance floor on fire. Shuffle dancing is a type of dance in which you "shuffle" your feet inwards and outwards while pushing your arms up and down or side to side in time with the music. On the beats of the popular song "Lover," your mentor will teach you Shuffle Dance Style. The class will tone your legs, glutes, and calves while burning calories, improving hand-eye coordination, and reducing clumsiness.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Flameless Cooking: Choco Chip Cookies and Nutty Salad

Hello, Foodies! To calm your taste buds, learn to create some delectable white chocolate chip cookies and a healthy yet tempting veggie nutty salad. In this 'Winter Camp Session,' the simple preparation process will be shared, making kids even more eager to join in this flavor-filled journey.

Pre-preparations for White Choco-Chip Cookies

  • White melted chocolate or Milk chocolate or Dark chocolate (1/2 cup at Room Temperature)
  • Melt the chocolate for 10 - 15 minutes and pour it into a bowl

Ingredients for White Choco-Chip Cookies

  • Chocolate chips or chocolate or toffy (2 pc)
  • Mix chopped nuts or single chopped nut (1/4cup)
  • Almond powder or Roasted besan or Grated coconut (1.5 tsp)
  • Edible Gel Colour (optional)
  • Silicon sheet or plain OHP sheet or Butter paper or Silver foil ( Qty - 1)

Extras:

  • Kitchen towel
  • Bowl (Qty - 2)
  • Spoon ( Qty - 1 )
  • Jar or Box - to store cookies (Qty 1)

Pre-Preparations for Nutty Salad

  • Boiled Carrot finely chopped (1/4 cup)
  • Boiled Beetroot finely chopped (1/4 cup)
  • Cucumber chopped (1/4cup)
  • Tofu or Soya paneer or paneer finely chopped (1/4cup)
  • Mix nuts finely chopped (1tsp)

Ingredients for Nutty Salad

  • Mayonnaise or peanut butter (2tsp)
  • Sweet & Chilli sauce (1tsp)
  • Tomato Ketchup (2 tsp)
  • Pink or Black salt (as to taste)
  • Black pepper (small pinch)
  • Round small Bowl or Cookie cutter or Katori ( Qty - 1)

For Garnishing: (Optional & According to your availability)

  • Mix nuts
  • Mint Leaves
  • Chopped Beetroot

Optional:

  • Lemon juice or Vinegar ( if you want the salad to be tangy)

Flameless Cooking: Marshmallow Tart & Surprise Dish

Greetings, young chefs! Are you prepared for another exciting session? So, get ready to learn how to make Walnut Apple Marshmallow Tart. Also, discover a simple chocolate pizza recipe that will amaze you. So, do you want to learn everything there is to know about this surprise? If that's the case, do join us in this fantastic session.

Materials Required for Walnut Apple Marshmallows Tart -

Pre-Preparations:

  • Chop the apple into small pieces.

Ingredients:

  • Sugar soft cookies (1 cup - flavorless preferred)
  • Soft unsalted butter (1/3 cup - at room temperature)
  • Castor Sugar or Powdered Sugar (1-1/2 spoon optional)
  • Cardamom Powder or Cinnamon powder or any essence of your choice (a pinch)
  • Honey (2 tablespoons) (Optional)
  • Apple (1-1/4 cup chopped)
  • Walnuts (1/2 cup)
  • Marshmallow

Substitute:

  • Walnut can be replaced with any nut of your choice.
  • Apple can be replaced with any fruit of your choice.
  • Cupcake linings can be replaced with normal small Katori with butter paper kept on them

Materials Required for Surprise Dish-

Ingredients:

  • Wafer (Qty 2) - (Mentor has taken Rice Puff Wafer, you can take any of your choice and availability)
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Honey
  • Brownies (left-over)
  • Marshmallows

Substitute:

  • Brownies can be replaced with any sweet or candy.
  • Toppings can be anything of your choice.

Art: Warli History, Borders & Figures

Warli Art is the easiest form of art that kids can start learning. The simple geometrical figures that make up a Warli picture are instantly relatable to any child. This ‘Winter Camp Session' will teach kids how to draw common Warli Art shapes such as lines, dots, triangles, and circles. They will also learn some interesting facts and history about this art style.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • A4 Size plain Sheets or A Drawing book (2 to 4 Qty)
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale )
  • Black Pen, Black Marker, and Black Sketch pens


Art: Warli Human Figures, Trees & Plants

The essence of the tribal society inspires Warli Painting, which revolves around mother nature and wildlife. Kids learn to draw human figures, trees, and plants using the Warli Art style in this Yellow Class, 'Free Online Winter Camp Session.' This art form depicts scenes of human figures engaging in activities such as dancing, sowing, celebrating, harvesting, and so on, using basic geometrical shapes, lines, patterns, and designs. So here kids will also learn to draw such Warli figures in a most fun-filled way.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • A4 Size Thick White Sheet (5 Qty)
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale).
  • Black Pen
  • Black Marker

In this Finale session of Warli Art, kids will learn to draw beautiful Warli Borders using different types of lines, motifs, and structures. The designs will be further used to decorate various Warli artwork. You will learn to draw different types of Warli houses and will use multiple patterns to decorate them.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Square Shape Thick White Sheet (1 Qty) (approximately 8" x 8")
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale).
  • Black Marker
  • Black Sketchpen
  • Black Pen (fine tip - gel or ballpoint)
  • Child-Friendly Scissors (optional)
  • Please keep the drawings from the previous "Warli Art: Winter Camp sessions" in handy for your reference

NOTE:

  • For a square sheet, take an A4 size sheet and cut it into the square shape of your chosen size.
  • Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like scissors


Art: Completing Warli Painting (Part-2)

In continuation to the previous session, kids will continue to draw and complete the Warli House drawing. The mentor will also teach kids to draw many more Warli figures on the sides that lead to the creation of the thematic scene depicting a story or an incident through the artwork.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Square Shape Thick White Sheet (Continued from Session 1: Let's Make A Warli House and Border Art (Finale)
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale)
  • Black Marker

  • Child-Friendly Scissors (optional)

GK : All About Christmas

Yummy Christmas cakes and treats, fairy lights, pretty decorations, and everything about Christmas is always awesome! However, in this workshop, children will learn more about the history of Christmas in depth. They will also learn about Santa Claus, including who he was in real life and the story that surrounds him.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Notebook (1 Qty)

GK : Chocolate Tale

Our little explorers will be treated to a delicious trail during the final session of "Winter Camp", where they will be treated to a sweet chocolate story. The class begins with a discussion of the origins and history of chocolate before moving on to the establishment of the first chocolate company. Finally, there will be some chocolate-related health advice. Isn't it surprising? Yes, chocolate has some health benefits when consumed in moderation because anything in excess is harsh or harmful.

Art: Completing Warli Painting (Part-2)

In continuation to the previous session, kids will continue to draw and complete the Warli House drawing. The mentor will also teach kids to draw many more Warli figures on the sides that lead to the creation of the thematic scene depicting a story or an incident through the artwork.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Square Shape Thick White Sheet (Continued from Session 1: Let's Make A Warli House and Border Art (Finale)
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale)
  • Black Marker
  • Black Sketch pens
  • Black Pen (fine tip -- gel or ballpoint)
  • Child-Friendly Scissors (optional)
  • Please keep the drawings from the previous "Warli Art: Winter Camp sessions" in handy for your reference

GK : All About Christmas

Yummy Christmas cakes and treats, fairy lights, pretty decorations, and everything about Christmas is always awesome! However, in this workshop, children will learn more about the history of Christmas in depth. They will also learn about Santa Claus, including who he was in real life and the story that surrounds him.

GK : Chocolate Tale

Our little explorers will be treated to a delicious trail during the final session of "Winter Camp", where they will be treated to a sweet chocolate story. The class begins with a discussion of the origins and history of chocolate before moving on to the establishment of the first chocolate company. Finally, there will be some chocolate-related health advice. Isn't it surprising? Yes, chocolate has some health benefits when consumed in moderation because anything in excess is harsh or harmful.
