Learn Healthy Delights: Turmeric Lady & Fruit Bowl Smoothie

These online kids' classes are designed to be the most exciting ever! This first session of "Cook with Celebrity Chef Prince" for kids starts off with them learning how to make a turmeric lady and fruit bowl smoothie!

RECIPE 1 - TURMERIC LADY:

  • Fresh Turmeric juice or pulp (1 Cup) to be prepared in advance
  • Carrot juice (1 Cup) to be prepared in advance
  • Jaggery syrup or Honey or Maple Syrup or Normal Sugar (1 Tablespoon, as per taste)
  • Orange juice (1 Cup) to be prepared in advance
  • Thick Orange slice (for Garnishing)
  • Lemon juice (a few Drops)
  • A tall Glass (for Serving)
  • Knife (blunt or butter knife) - When using the same, adult help and supervision is required

Recipe for Turmeric Juice - to be prepared in advance

  • Take some turmeric (2 -3 pieces)
  • Peel them off
  • Add 1/4 cup of water
  • Honey or any other sweetener (2 Tablespoons)
  • Black pepper (optional)
  • Blend all of them in a mixer
  • Pour it in a container

Recipe for Carrot Juice - to be prepared in advance

  • Take some carrot (2-3 pieces)
  • Peel them off
  • Honey or any other sweetener (2 Tablespoons)
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Blend all of them
  • Pour it in a container

NOTE:

  • You can use the can or packed juice, but for better results, we prefer to use homemade fresh juice
  • And you can replace it with sugar as well but to make it healthy we prefer jaggery
  • Adult supervision and guidance is required for use of knives, scissors, mixer-grinders, and microwave
  • Jaggery Syrup or pulp recipe (to be prepared in advance) - just grate 1 cup jaggery in a bowl, add 1.5 cups warm water mix it well so that it is dissolved properly and then put it in the freezer to make it a little thick consistency, and then it is ready to use

RECIPE 2 - FRUIT BOWL SMOOTHIE:

  • Mashed banana (1 Qty)
  • Chopped apple (1 Qty)
  • Roasted nuts sliced and chopped finely (1/3 Cup) (almonds, cashew, walnut, etc)
  • Thin slices of 1 Apple (for Garnishing)
  • Jaggery syrup or pulp (Normal sugar only if you need extra sweetness) - (1/4 Cup)
  • Pomegranate - 4-5 tablespoon (for Garnishing)
  • Granola or Plain Roasted Nuts (for Garnishing)
  • Dessert Bowl -1 Qty (for Serving)
  • For Mashing Banana - (1 Bowl)
  • Hershey syrup or crushed sugar (optional)
  • Knife (blunt or butter knife) - When using the same adult help and supervision is required

SMOOTHIE MIXTURE - to be prepared in advance

  • Apple Pulp (1/4 Cup)
  • Cherry Pulp (1/4 Cup)
  • Soya Milk or Curd or Normal Milk - (1/4 Cup) mix all 3 mixtures properly and refrigerate them

Recipe for Apple Pulp - to be prepared in advance

  • Peel off the skin of the Apple
  • Remove the seeds
  • Chop it into pieces
  • Boil it for 20 mins (under Slow flame)
  • Add little sugar to it
  • Stir it well and strain it
  • the Pulp can be taken into use

OR

  • Peel off the skin of the Apple
  • Remove the seeds
  • Chop it into pieces
  • Boil it for 20 mins (under Slow flame)
  • Take it out and let it cool down
  • Then, mash it properly with a Spoon or Fork
  • the Pulp can be taken into use

Recipe for Cherry Pulp - to be prepared in advance

  • Peel off the skin of the cherries
  • Then, mash it properly with a Fork or blend it
  • the Pulp can be taken into use

NOTE:

  • You can replace the fruits as per your choice and make sure the smoothie mixture should be made with the help of your family.
  • For making the smoothie mixture you can use frozen berries for flavors, and you can replace the soya milk with curd for better texture.
  • You can also replace granola with mix roasted nuts or foxnuts or you can use the market one as well.
  • Adult supervision and guidance is required for use of knives, scissors, mixer-grinders, and microwave.

This session of "Cook with Celebrity Chef Prince" is all about learning how to make delicious and tangy pasta salad for a delightful treat at home. They also learn how to make sinful chocolate mud cake that you can all enjoy!

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

RECIPE 1 -TANGY PASTA SALAD -

  • Penne pasta boiled (1/2 Cup) (any pasta or macaroni to be preboiled in advance)
  • Noodles Boiled (1/2 Cup) (to be preboiled in advance)
  • Tomato ketchup or Sauce (2 and a half tablespoons)
  • Cabbage (few leaves) (finely chopped)
  • Julienne cut carrot (1/2 Cup - long thin strip cut)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Back pepper (optional - half spoon)
  • Pomegranate (for garnishing)
  • Mint or coriander leaves (optional)
  • Cheese slice or Cheese cube for garnishing (2 or 3 slices) (optional)
  • Mayonnaise (2 and a half tablespoon)
  • Pizza or Pasta sauce (optional - 1/2 tablespoon)
  • Pizza Mix herbs or Oregano (1 tablespoon)
  • Lemon or White vinegar (1 and a half tablespoon)
  • 1 Bowl & 2 spoons (for mixing the ingredients)
  • Knife
  • Chopping board or Flat plate (for Serving)
  • 1 Bowl (for making the round shape for presentation)

RECIPE 2 -CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE -

  • Any Chocolate sauce or Hershey Syrup (3 Tablespoons)
  • Roasted finely chopped mix nuts (10 to 20 pieces)
  • Sponge chocolate cake or Cake chunks or Dry cake or fruit cake or sweet bread or normal bread (brown or white) (5 slices)
  • Caster sugar or Ground sugar, honey, Jaggery powder, Maple syrup(as per sweetness)
  • Peanut butter or chocolate peanut butter (optional - Half tablespoon)
  • Vanilla Essence (1 tablespoon)
  • Milk (normal - 2 tablespoon)
  • Chocolate coins / chocolate chips / pieces of chocolate (for garnishing)
  • Bowl for mixing
  • A small plate covered with silver foil (Optional - for Plating)
  • Cookie-cutter or small bowl (optional)
  • Spatula

NOTE:

  • Another alternative for the chocolate sauce is Hershey’s chocolate
  • Adult supervision and guidance is required for use of knives, scissors, mixer-grinders, and microwave.

Lets Make A Delicious Bruschetta and Almond Laddu

Children will enjoy this session in which they will learn how to make Bruschetta as well as the all-time favorite, almond-based Laddoos! This culinary class for kids is going to be a lot of fun!

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

RECIPE 1 -BRUSCHETTA -

  • Toasted plain Brown or normal bread or buns, Masala bread, Multigrain Bread (6 Slices cut in into half) (any bread) (need to pre toast in advance)
  • Boiled chickpea paste (need to pre-cook the chickpeas)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Small diced tomato (remove the seeds)
  • Tomato Sauce (4 tablespoons) (any brand)
  • Finely Chopped Coriander (Few leaves) & Crushed Garlic (optional)
  • Cheese slices (2 Qty)
  • Mayonnaise - (2 tablespoons ) (Substitute - cheese spread, fresh cream, sandwich spread, etc)
  • Black pepper (for Seasoning)
  • Sesame oil or Olive oil or any vegetable oil (half tablespoon)
  • Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • A Plate (for serving)
  • 1 bowl & Whisker and spoon

Chickpea Paste Recipe- (need to make in advance)

  • Overnight soak the chickpeas (1/2 cup) in water and then cook them in the cooker.
  • When it is cooked properly, let it cool and then make a paste of chickpea in a mixer.

RECIPE 2- ALMOND LADDU -

  • Almond powder (50 gm or 4 tablespoons) (take 1/2 cup almond and grind in grinder in advance) or Coconut powder (dry) (50 gm or 4 tablespoons)
  • Brown sugar or Caster sugar or any sugar or Jaggery powder (40gm or 3 tablespoons)
  • Cardamom powder (1 pinch)
  • Nutmeg powder (1 pinch)
  • Nuts for garnish (for garnishing finely chopped Almond, Pista, cashew)
  • Roasted besan (3 tablespoons) (pre-roast the besan in advance)
  • Desi ghee (3 tablespoons)
  • Roasted Almonds (for garnishing)

Lets Make Delicious No-Bake Cheesecake and Jelly Fruit Salad

Fun online kids classes like this one will get your kids in the mood for more experimentation. This session will teach students how to make delectable cheesecake without having to bake and a fruit salad

RECIPE 1 - NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE -

  • Any choice of Biscuits or Cookies (100 gm) (any unsalted biscuit - digestive, marigold, parle-g, oreo, etc)
  • Butter (50 gm)
  • Caster Sugar (1 Tablespoon) (substitute - honey, maple sugar, brown sugar, or sugar)
  • Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Lemon zest (finely grated)
  • Vanilla essence (3 to 4 Drops)
  • Whipped cream (1 Cup)
  • Finely chopped or crushed or mashed Apple (1 Qty)
  • Cherries (for garnishing)
  • A Bowl (for mixing)
  • A small transparent Jug or Glass (for Serving)

Recipe for Jaggery Syrup-

  • Just grate jaggery in a Bowl
  • Add warm water mix it well so that it is dissolved properly and then put it in the freezer to make it little thick consistency, and then it is ready to use.

RECIPE 2 - JELLY FRUIT SALAD -

  • Fruit Jelly or Jelly berries or Chupachups (1/2 Cup)
  • Finely chopped mixed fruits like (Apple, Orange, Banana, Cherry, etc)
  • Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Jaggery syrup or Maple syrup or Caster sugar or Powder Sugar or Honey (1/2 Cup)
  • Ginger syrup (1 Tablespoon optional)
  • Black salt (1 Pinch)
  • Whipped cream (only for garnishing optional)
  • Granola (Optional for garnishing - 1 tablespoon)
  • Roasted nuts (Optional - for garnishing which should be finely chopped)
  • A Bowl (for mixing)
  • A Salad Bowl or Serving plate or Bowl (for Serving)
  • Whisker (to mix the syrup)
  • Knife (Under parental guidance)
  • Extra Spoons
  • Salt

NOTE -

  • You can use any of your choice of biscuits

  • Ginger Syrup recipe - In a saucepan on medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Add the ginger and continue to heat, bringing the syrup to a light boil. (Cover, reduce heat, and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes)

Let's Make A Stuffed Punjabi Golgappa and Italian Tiramisu (East meets West)

East meets West at this fun and innovative cooking for kids session. Children will learn how to make stuffed Punjabi Golgappas, as well as a delectable Italian Tiramisu to accompany them! This session will be a gourmet feast for the kids.

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

STUFFED PUNJABI GOLGAPPA:

Pre-Preparations -

  • Boiled & Grated potato (2 Qty)
  • Coriander leaves (some finely chopped)
  • Paneer or Cheese slices or cheese Cubes (5 Slices) (any brand)
  • Peeled Pomegranate (for garnishing)
  • Chopped Onions

Main Ingredients -

  • Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Mayonnaise (filled in a Piping Bag)
  • Chat masala (1 Tablespoon)
  • Sev or namkeen (any brand eg. Haldiram ) (1 Cup)
  • Tomato sauce (1/2 Cup)
  • Black pepper (a small pinch)
  • Salt (as per to your taste)
  • Cumin powder or Garam Masala (1 Teaspoon)
  • Gol Gappa (Pieces according to your choice)
  • Soaked Bhalla or Vada (Optional)
  • Dry chilly (optional)

ITALIAN TIRAMISU:

  • Coffee powder (one small pack)
  • Cake Rusk (any brand) (4 pieces) (fruit cake, sweet bread, rusk for adding crunchiness)
  • Caster sugar (2 tablespoons)
  • Milk (1/4 cup)
  • Whipped cream (1 Cup)
  • Cocoa powder (1 tablespoon for garnishing)
  • Cinnamon powder (a small pinch)
  • Nutmeg powder (a small pinch)
  • A small strainer
  • A Plastic box (for plating)
  • A Bowl (For Mixing)

NOTE:

  • Try to use a piping bag for golgappa filling (optional)
  • If you do not have a Piping bag, you can use the spoons as well
  • If you do not have Cocoa powder, you can use BournVita powder as well

Let's Make A No Bake Swiss Roll, Chocolate Art and Plating Tips (Program Finale)

This program finale is all about learning how to create no-bake Swiss rolls along with delicious chocolate art that will add new skills to their oeuvre. Children also get plating tips to round off a memorable program.

PLATING TIPS -

The method we are going to learn in this class is important to be very attentive and do not try when the chef is teaching you the plating tips. You can practice it after the class and for the Swiss roll activity, you need to be ready with all the ingredients

  • Normal Tomato Sauce in Piping bag
  • Spoons (of all sizes)
  • Thermocol plates (10 or more)

NOTE:

  • If you do not have a Piping bag, you can use spoons as well to pour the sauce
  • If you do not have a Tomato sauce, you can use Mayonnaise as well
  • Don't use too much runny dip or Sauce for plating
  • Try with new bright color
  • Plate selection is important
  • Use a simple and flat plate
  • Do not over garnish the dish

CHOCOLATE ART -

For chocolate art you can use the compound chocolate

  • Melted (Dark Chocolate or Milk Chocolate or White Chocolate)
  • OHB Sheet (for Chocolate Art)
  • An object (to get cut-outs of any shapes. It can be a Circle or Square or any of your choice) (like a small glass)
  • Spatula or Spoon

NOTE:

  • Make sure an elder is helping you to melt the chocolates.
  • The method is the same for all chocolates. You can use a double boiler or Microwave for melting the chocolate.

NO BAKE SWISS ROLL -

  • Normal Bread pieces (Remove the sides) - 6 Pieces
  • Fruit Jam (any brand) - (For Substitute you can also use Chocolate spread or Peanut butter as well)
  • Whipped Cream ( Substitute are - Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate ganache -1 Cup)
  • Cocoa powder (For garnishing) - (For Substitute you can also use BournVita Powder)
  • Spatula or Spoon
  • Strainer (for spreading the Cocoa powder)
  • Knife
  • Cherries or Strawberries or Grated Chocolate (Optional - for Garnishing)

NOTE:

  • You can use any fruit jam or spread like Peanut butter or Chocolate sauce
  • Trim the sides of the bread
  • Use the regular size bread
  • You can use chocolate powder as well instead of cocoa powder
  • Parental guidance is required for handling sharp objects knives, scissors, cutters, etc.

Lets Make A Delicious Bruschetta and Almond Laddu

Children will enjoy this session in which they will learn how to make Bruschetta as well as the all-time favorite, almond-based Laddoos! This culinary class for kids is going to be a lot of fun!

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

RECIPE 1 -BRUSCHETTA -

  • Toasted plain Brown or normal bread or buns, Masala bread, Multigrain Bread (6 Slices cut in into half) (any bread) (need to pre toast in advance)
  • Boiled chickpea paste (need to pre-cook the chickpeas)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Small diced tomato (remove the seeds)
  • Tomato Sauce (4 tablespoons) (any brand)
  • Finely Chopped Coriander (Few leaves) & Crushed Garlic (optional)
  • Cheese slices (2 Qty)
  • Mayonnaise - (2 tablespoons ) (Substitute - cheese spread, fresh cream, sandwich spread, etc)
  • Black pepper (for Seasoning)
  • Sesame oil or Olive oil or any vegetable oil (half tablespoon)
  • Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • A Plate (for serving)
  • 1 bowl & Whisker and spoon

Chickpea Paste Recipe- (need to make in advance)

  • Overnight soak the chickpeas (1/2 cup) in water and then cook them in the cooker.
  • When it is cooked properly, let it cool and then make a paste of chickpea in a mixer.

RECIPE 2- ALMOND LADDU -

  • Almond powder (50 gm or 4 tablespoons) (take 1/2 cup almond and grind in grinder in advance) or Coconut powder (dry) (50 gm or 4 tablespoons)
  • Brown sugar or Caster sugar or any sugar or Jaggery powder (40gm or 3 tablespoons)
  • Cardamom powder (1 pinch)
  • Nutmeg powder (1 pinch)
  • Nuts for garnish (for garnishing finely chopped Almond, Pista, cashew)
  • Roasted besan (3 tablespoons) (pre-roast the besan in advance)
  • Desi ghee (3 tablespoons)
  • Roasted Almonds (for garnishing)

RECIPE 1 - NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE -

  • Any choice of Biscuits or Cookies (100 gm) (any unsalted biscuit - digestive, marigold, parle-g, oreo, etc)
  • Butter (50 gm)
  • Caster Sugar (1 Tablespoon) (substitute - honey, maple sugar, brown sugar, or sugar)
  • Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Lemon zest (finely grated)
  • Vanilla essence (3 to 4 Drops)
  • Whipped cream (1 Cup)
  • Finely chopped or crushed or mashed Apple (1 Qty)
  • Cherries (for garnishing)
  • A Bowl (for mixing)
  • A small transparent Jug or Glass (for Serving)

Recipe for Jaggery Syrup-

  • Just grate jaggery in a Bowl
  • Add warm water mix it well so that it is dissolved properly and then put it in the freezer to make it little thick consistency, and then it is ready to use.

RECIPE 2 - JELLY FRUIT SALAD -

  • Fruit Jelly or Jelly berries or Chupachups (1/2 Cup)
  • Finely chopped mixed fruits like (Apple, Orange, Banana, Cherry, etc)
  • Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Jaggery syrup or Maple syrup or Caster sugar or Powder Sugar or Honey (1/2 Cup)
  • Ginger syrup (1 Tablespoon optional)
  • Black salt (1 Pinch)
  • Whipped cream (only for garnishing optional)
  • Granola (Optional for garnishing - 1 tablespoon)
  • Roasted nuts (Optional - for garnishing which should be finely chopped)
  • A Bowl (for mixing)

This program finale is all about learning how to create no-bake Swiss rolls along with delicious chocolate art that will add new skills to their oeuvre. Children also get plating tips to round off a memorable program.

PLATING TIPS -

The method we are going to learn in this class is important to be very attentive and do not try when the chef is teaching you the plating tips. You can practice it after the class and for the Swiss roll activity, you need to be ready with all the ingredients

  • Normal Tomato Sauce in Piping bag
  • Spoons (of all sizes)
  • Thermocol plates (10 or more)

NOTE:

  • If you do not have a Piping bag, you can use spoons as well to pour the sauce
  • If you do not have a Tomato sauce, you can use Mayonnaise as well
  • Don't use too much runny dip or Sauce for plating
  • Try with new bright color
  • Plate selection is important
  • Use a simple and flat plate
  • Do not over garnish the dish

CHOCOLATE ART -

For chocolate art you can use the compound chocolate

  • Melted (Dark Chocolate or Milk Chocolate or White Chocolate)
  • OHB Sheet (for Chocolate Art)
  • An object (to get cut-outs of any shapes. It can be a Circle or Square or any of your choice) (like a small glass)
  • Spatula or Spoon

  • Make sure an elder is helping you to melt the chocolates.
  • The method is the same for all chocolates. You can use a double boiler or Microwave for melting the chocolate.

  • Fruit Jam (any brand) - (For Substitute you can also use Chocolate spread or Peanut butter as well)
