Through the 'Expressive Writing with Art' Program, the little ones will understand the concept of expressive writing and develop such rewarding habits as diary and journal writing.

With this program, children will explore tools that can be a highly beneficial tool for expressing their feelings through art. This program will also strengthen their self-confidence.

This program involves a lot of thought, planning, and organization which is a great practice for kids at laying out their thoughts while making learning new skills easy for them.

Imagination And Creativity
Jaisleen Ma’am encourages your child to exercise their creative brains and practice using their imaginations. Also, helps improve their ability to come up with new ideas which broaden their thought processes and lead to success in many areas, such as problem-solving, analysis, and more.
An avid writer, creative thinker, and passionate thespian, Jaisleen Kaur Sondhi loves making classes more relatable for kids. She introduces characters to keep them engaged through situational learning and likes to experiment & explore new skills.
Introduction to Expressive Writing
In this introductory session, kids will get to know the meaning of emotions and their different types. They will understand the importance of expression in different ways, which will include journal writing as well. As a part of journal writing, they will learn to write simple sentences related to everyday life. The mentor will help them in correlating emotions with colours and make a personal mood board based on four distinct zones of regulation.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:

The second session of this program will enable kids to learn about the elements, meaning, and purpose of expressive writing. They will practice this medium of expression in different formats which will be based on different situations. The mentor will help them in familiarising them with their own thinking process so that they can learn how to express their feelings in words. The kids will strengthen their learnings so far by writing simple sentences related to different imaginary situations.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:

With the finale session of this program, the young learners will think deeper about their choices and put them in a creative format. They will practice writing a reflective introduction and learn about its importance. Along with identifying the use of pronouns in their writing, they will also learn the value of writing a diary or maintaining a journal.
