Yellow Class Art of Self Defence helps to build confidence in children while giving them new abilities to protect themselves and instilling discipline. Our kid’s program is not just about self-defence, children also learn how to deal with disasters whether in schools or at home.

In Art of Self Defence, the mentor will teach many intricate techniques of self defence and how to execute them.

Teaches gentle solutions to bullying and rough play
Art of Self Defence Program teaches kids gentle solutions emphasizing self-defence techniques that help kids protect their personal space, for when they are being “attacked” by other kids.

Improves physical fitness and coordination
This program teaches kids to be active. The techniques are shown here develop gross and fine motor skills and therefore result in a holistic improvement in fitness and physicality. The physical activities shown in this program will benefit from improved coordination, strength, agility, balance, flexibility, cardio, speed, and reactive and bursting power.
On a mission of making girls and students independent, Shahnawaz Chauhan is a Ghaziabad-based self-defense & karate trainer with 5 years of experience. Highly qualified in his field, he has won various national and international karate tournaments.
Basics of Karate (Hindi)
In this introductory session, kids will get familiar with the importance of Self Defence in our lives, its meaning and will learn the basics of Karate. Here they will do a quick warm-up and perform some stretching and rotational exercises to gear up the body. Further, they will learn the technique of doing greetings in Karate and will learn to make a perfect fist punch and will do certain exercises around it. Also, they will do a few leg exercises too like criss-cross jumping, balancing the body in a half bend position, etc. The mentor finally concluded the class with a closing exercise which is a must for concluding the karate class.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Learn Punches (Hindi)
In this session, along with revising some old exercises to pace up the body, kids will now learn a few new exercises too. They will learn more and in detail about different types of punches in karate which are categorized as - Upper punch, middle punch, lower punch, speed punch, etc. Further, they will learn the right method, positioning, and techniques to form these punches and their use.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Punch and Slap Blocks (Hindi)
In this class kids will start the class with a warm-up routine that includes neck rotations, high knees jumping exercise, hand and leg stretching exercise, etc. They will learn to block different types of punches and for that, he has one of his partners to accompany him so that he can explain the concept in the proper way. He will teach the techniques of how middle punch is to be defended through chest block, face punch to be defended by face block through upper punch, and slap block too.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Defensive Blocks Against Punches (Hindi)
This session covers techniques around defensive blocks against different types of punches. The blocks discussed in this session will include X Block, Side Block, Side Block and Blade, and Outside Block. A few PT and stretching exercises will also be conducted during the class. Revision of Chest Block, Face Block, and Slap Block is also done in the class.

Introducing Nunchucks Techniques (Hindi)
This session covers Nunchucks tricks and techniques training. Kids will do some exercises which are good for muscles and flexibility. This session also covers tricks and tips to use Nunchucks and their basics, how to hold them, and perform some techniques around it. Kids will also learn about the Round-Up movement and how it will be useful while using or doing some nunchucks tricks.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Advance Tricks of Nunchucks (Hindi)
The sixth session of the Art of Self Defence program will be all about the advanced Nunchucks. Kids will enhance their speed and skills of using Nunchucks as they will learn to spin and rebound nunchucks from different angles. This session in Hindi will help them in understanding the basic movements of these categories and be able to create unique defence moves through nunchucks using the right and left hands.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Different Types of Kicks (Hindi)
The seventh session of Art of Self Defence covers exercises such as Head Rotations, Hand rotations, stretching, PT Exercises, High Knee Jump to prepare kids for further activities. There will be half stretching which is basically a Side Lunge exercise, and on spot running while they learn about Mayagiri Kick tips and techniques. This Hindi session will help kids to understand the balancing of Kick, body, back kick from both sides and various versions of Mawashi Geri Kick.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Self Defence Against Kidnapping (Hindi)
This session covers self-defence training against kidnapping. The class will prepare kids to protect themselves in various uncertain situations. Kids will understand the tricks and techniques to free themselves from someone's grip if attacked from behind or if someone tries to kidnap them. The mentor suggests they use elbow hits in such cases and push the body in front. The session will be concluded in the Hindi language.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Defence Against Attacks (Hindi)
In the 9th session of Art of Self Defence, children will learn defence techniques if someone pulls them from their hair. Kids will be taught perfect hits, punches, kicks, and body positions will be taught to defend themselves in such situations.

Let’s learn about Advance punches in this session of Art of Self Defence. The session will include exercises such as head rotation, hand rotation, stretching, chin Up and Down Exercise, and so on. Kids will learn about various punches while practising punches. The Hindi session will explain the importance of speed in punches

Advance Kick (Hindi)
In this finale session of Art of Self Defence, kids will learn in detail about advanced kicks. There will be balancing and stretching exercises. Kids will learn different types of kicks such as Flying Kick, Mawashi Geri Kick, Mae Geri Kick, and Kin Geri Kick.
