Scratch sprites are images that kids can create in the Scratch interface. Kids will learn about the movements of the sprites with the costumes while repeating the process multiple times to make it look convincing and visually appealing.

Understanding Sound and Make a Dance Party
Make your dance go on forever! In this session, Shuruti Ma’am will learn to add sound to each sprite using sound blocks. She will make kids learn how to implement all the blocks to make a dance party of dinosaurs. How cool is that?

Farm Animation
Take your coding skill a notch higher with farm animation. Kids will learn how to make an animation piece step by step, the importance of running small scripts to check the outcome. They will animate a farm where a hen will walk and a horse will run on the click. This activity will use motion, looks, and sound blocks to make the animation.

Learning how to change the backdrops is the first step in story-making. The mentor will teach how to have more backdrops in a project. Kids will learn the ways to add backdrops, make changes in the backdrops, hide and show the sprite on the backdrops.

Do you know you can coordinate actions across multiple sprites using broadcasts? In this session, learn to understand how message passing takes place from scratch. Kids will learn how to convert between various sprites which will be the second step toward story-making.

Haven't you heard the story of hare and tortoise in your childhood? Now it’s time to recreate it in Scratch. This activity will help kids to get an understanding of broadcasting and backdrops. Kids will learn to write scripts for a story, add more sprites and add sound to a particular backdrop.
