Let’s Jazz it up! Tejas Dhoke will start this session with an energetic warm-up session which includes flexibility training, and endurance workouts to name a few. Exploring BPMs (Beats Per Minute)

Kids are going to love this session as they will get familiar with Beats Per Minute. Learn to perform steps in slow, medium, and fast-paced songs. The mentor starts this session with some basic workouts like basic grooves, swifts, swings, and so on. Further, kids will learn three common dance steps that they will learn to perform and attempt on 60 BPM Rhythm, 80 BPM Rhythm, 100 BPM Rhythm, and 120 BPM Rhythm.

Three Universal Dance Steps

Take your Jazz dance to the next level with this session where kids will learn the details of this dance style. The warm-up set of this session will consist of on-the-spot marching, body rotations, jumping jacks, on-the-spot running, holding a plank, etc. Kids will learn universal steps in detail which can be used in any song of the respective genre.

Freestyle dancing makes you more comfortable while allowing you to explore new ideas for movement. The session will start with a game called 6 corner which is fun and helpful in building agility. Further, they will indulge in a warm-up session. Kids will learn freestyle dance choreography on ‘Butter’. The choreography is the amalgamation of various dance styles like jazz-funk, K- Pop, Hip-Hop, etc. Kids are advised to rehearse and practice as much as they can to be smooth dancers.

Kids are taught to get a good hold of its beats and to gain musicality in their dancing.
