Being well-versed with the key English grammar concepts allows children to have clear conversations, emerge more confident, and achieve fluency in writing and speaking. Yellow Class 'Concepts of Grammar' program aims at letting kids take their first step towards refining their English language skills.

Long and Short Vowels
Long and Short Vowels make for an integral part of English grammar. While the former refers to any of the sounds represented in English by the letters a, e, i, o, or u, the latter are any of the letters of the English alphabet except the vowels. In this session, kids will learn about these two concepts in detail.

Noun & its Types
Any discussion concerning English grammar is incomplete without Nouns! Nouns are the most important part of English grammar. Nouns generally function as the name of a thing, idea, place, or person. Kids will get well-versed with nouns with the help of various examples.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Types of Nouns
This session will be in continuation of the preceding session. Our mentor will now teach kids the various ‘Types of Nouns’, the difference between the types of nouns, and on what basis they can be classified under their respective types. She will illustrate her point using various examples.

At the Supermarket (Vocabulary Building)
Never underestimate the power of having a good vocabulary! In this session, our mentor will help kids learn the terms/names for the things, people, places, and more they see at the supermarket. Vocabulary building allows the child to understand different words, and use them correctly.

Types of Sentences
Understanding sentence formation, structure, and correct usage of the type of sentences play a major role in determining your ability to express an idea. In this session, kids will learn about the 'types of sentences', and how to use different sentences to accomplish different goals and actions. This session aims at letting young learners enhance their written and verbal command of English.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Nouns (Countable and uncountable)
Let's learn about 'countable & uncountable nouns. Getting a good grasp of the distinction between the two is important to understand which nouns can be counted and which can't. Our mentor will give various examples to help kids retain this concept better.

Another vocabulary-building session to let our young learners grow up to become masters in the English language. Now, kids will learn the names of things that they see around them in a classroom.
