Strawberry Rolled Cupcakes

With Master Chef - Prince Sharma, learn to give a refreshing makeover to the leftover strawberry cake. Prince will guide little master chefs as they engage in flavour making using different flavours while arranging the leftover food to prepare the base of the strawberry rolled cupcakes. As per the mentor’s instructions, learn to make a rose spoon pipe for the cupcakes and enhance plate decoration skills in the second half of the session.

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

Ingredients:

  • Cake or any sweet bread crumb (1cup) (Bread, Sweet Bread)
  • Strawberry flavour candy or jelly (eg. Just jelly) for garnish
  • Sugar syrup (1/2 cup)
  • Strawberry essence (1/2 tsp) or strawberry crush (2 tbsp)
  • Whipped cream or sweet-flavoured Yogurt (1cup)
  • Crush candy or chocolate for garnish (Sprinkles)
  • Rough cloth for cleaning the workstation
  • Plate

Extras:

  • Set of a spoon
  • Cupcake linings or small cup (5-6 pc) (Paper one) or small Katori
  • Plates (2 Qty)
  • Plain Bowl
  • Spatula (for mixing)
  • Kitchen towel during the class
  • Can use a small bowl if you don't have cupcake liners
  • Can use tooti fruit cake also with cherries.
  • Powdered Sugar(3/4 tsp) if you want to add extra sweetener
  • Can use blackcurrant candy or Pineapple or any of your favourite flavoured candy
  • Any nozzle for icing

  • Can Add Frooti, Strawberry Pulp in place of sugar syrup (If you want flavour in your cupcake)

Pre Prepared:

  • Strawberry Flavour Whipped Cream From Market or make it at home by adding strawberry essence to whipped cream (It can be a Mango flavour or any other fruit flavour)
  • Simple sugar syrup 1/2cup
  • Whipped cream or sweet-flavoured Yogurt 1cup(food colouring can be used) can be substituted for whipped cream
  • Pastry Bag for whipped cream with a star or any shape nozzle or spoon can be used.

Other Garnishing Items: Chocolate Gems, Crushed Chocolates, Pineapple, Blackcurrant gelly, Jam

NOTE: If using Mango essence you have to use the same flavour cake, you can't add mango flavour essence with strawberry flavour cake


Baking Products and Choco Lava Cake

In this session, Prince guides the children with the preparation of a no-oven choco lava cake and a thick chocolate ganache. Using the leftover chocolate cake or pastry, learn to make a strong and delicious base of the choco lava cake in the first half of the session. Prince will help kids select the right ingredients required for making a thick chocolate ganache for the choco lava cake. By the end of the session, kids will be able to garnish their dessert as per their liking.

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

Ingredients:

  • Cocoa powder (1tsp) (Natural Unsweetened)
  • Milk warm (1/2 cup) (Lukewarm)
  • Leftover Chocolate pastry or chocolate cake (1 cup)
  • Chocolate melted + warm cream mix together
  • Chocolate gems for garnish
  • Chocolate any for garnish (sweet chocolate not dark chocolate)
  • Whipped cream or sweet yogurt 1/2cup (Can be coloured also)
  • Sugar (1/2 cup)
  • Cupcake linings silicon one or and small cup greased with oil
  • Plate for garnishing (1 Qty)

Pre-preparation:

  • Remove the whipped cream from leftover chocolate cake or pastry (approx 1 cup)
  • Recipe of Chocolate Ganache [Heat cream - (Fresh cream from the market) for a minute in the microwave and add melted chocolate to it and mix it well]

Extra's:

  • Keep set of spoon
  • Plates (2 Qty)
  • Kitchen towel during the class
  • Cupcake moulds
  • Mixing Bowls (2 Qty)

Other Garnishing Items:

  • Any Chocolate (shaved or curled)
  • Candies
  • Colourful sweet fennel seeds (saunf)

Substitutes:

  • If silicon cupcake lining is not available we can take a small bowl and grease it with any vegetable oil or olive oil.
  • Sweet Bread or normal bread with added sugar powder can be used as a substitute for leftover cakes

TASK- To make 2 versions of choco lava cake and post on social media


Black Forest Jar

A cake jar is a jar full of happiness! Hence, children will learn to make a delicious black forest cake jar in this session. Under Prince’s guidance, prepare the base of the black forest cake jar using leftover chocolate cake or pastry. Learn to craft the base with perfection in part 1 of this session. Children will be learning how to assemble each layer in the jar as per Prince’s instructions. Ace the art of layer perfection by the end of the session.

Ingredients:

  • Cake sponge or chocolate biscuit crumbs (1cup) or any leftover cake bread (Bread, Sweet Bread) or leftover pastry or add the chocolate powder in bread
  • Whipped cream or flavored (sweet yogurt) or add sugar in normal curd (1 cup)
  • Chocolate essence or chocolate sauce
  • Favorite fruit slice (5 pc) (mango, apple, etc)
  • Any wafer chocolate and wafer 1 piece each
  • Sugar or castor sugar or brown sugar or shakar or jaggery powder
  • cookies (your favorite)
  • Cherries (optional) or any berry
  • Chocolate powder or cocoa powder

Extras:

  • Glass jar or short glass (1 Qty)
  • Set of spoons
  • Plates (2 Qty)

  • Bowl for mixing

Pre-Prepared:

  • Whipped cream or sweet yogurt (1 cup) (from market Canned Preferred)
  • Chocolate Crumble, Oreo Biscuit's (for black forest base)
  • Plum Slices, Cherry, Mango Slices
  • Piping Bag, Squeeze Bottle for filling whipped cream

Garnishing (Icing):

  • Cake shinny Sprinkles made of rice flour/corn starch and sugar (From market available in all colors)
  • Confetti Sprinkles
  • Candies (Jelly, Caramel candy, Mango candy, Lolipop)
  • Sugar-coated fennel (saunf)
  • Wafers (from the market in different flavor's)
  • Gems
  • Chocolates (simple chocolate, white chocolate, crunchy chocolate)
  • Cookies

NOTE: While using yogurt or curd we cannot use them in pipping bag, it will not give the same effect and texture.

Substitute: Sweet Bread or normal bread and add powdered sugar can be used as a substitute for leftover cakes / Sponge (can also add cocoa or chocolate powder as well)


Bomb Alaska

By the end of this session, children will refine their food presentation skills as they will learn to prepare and decorate an edible bomb. Learn to prepare the base of this dessert bomb using leftover cake. Add available ingredients in an appropriate quantity to add volume to the base as per mentor’s instructions. Kids will get an opportunity to showcase their presentation skills as they learn how to add different decorative items like cookie crumbs, sprinklers, whipped cream etc. to the base of the bomb.

MATERIAL REQUIRED:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Any Sponge cake (any flavour - plain, vanilla, strawberry or chocolate)
  • Whipped cream (1 cup)
  • Chocolate sauce (1/2 cup)
  • Peanut butter (1/2 cup) (Optional)
  • Bakery cookies (Any cookie to add crunch )

GARNISHING:

  • Sprinkles (Coloured)
  • Cake crumbles (Finely done)
  • Chocolate gems (1 pack)
  • Small chunks of your favourite fruit

SUBSTITUTE:

  • 2-3 Slice of sandwich bread and add strawberry flavour (In half cup of milk and add 2 spoons of strawberry crush and soak slowly on your bread)
  • Use 2 sizes of glasses (smaller and bigger) in replacement of cookie cutter
  • Choco spread (slightly milky and in liquid form)
  • Crushed candy in place of crumble

  • White bowl or any kitchen deep bowl
  • Keep set of spoon and 2 plates

NOTE: Vanilla sponge can be used for making any fruit cake.

A Handmade Flavoured Chocolate

Master Chef Prince will teach kids to make a variety of flavoured chocolates. The mentor will guide kids as they indulge in chocolate making using different flavours. Kids will also learn about the types of chocolates available in the market. They’ll also learn how to melt chocolates. In the second half of this flameless cooking session, Master Chef Prince teaches little chefs to make flavoured chocolates with the help of white/normal chocolate.

PREPARATION & MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Preparation:

  • Crush all the candies and keep them separately
  • Melted white and Dark chocolate (1 cup each of any brand)
  • Nuts chopped.

Ingredients:

  • Candy or Chocolate (of your choice)
  • Butter sheet or OHB plastic sheet (1 or 2 Qty)

Optional:

  • Candies - ( Mango bite ,Alpenlibe ,Orange candy )
  • Sweet Fennel
  • Sweet Maroon Candy Balls
  • Roasted Mixed Seeds ( Sesame Seeds , Flax seeds, Watermelon Seeds )
  • Sunflower Seeds or Musk Melon Seeds or Pumpkin seeds (few needed)
  • Walnuts

Extra's:

  • Keep a set of Spoon's
  • 2 plates
  • Kitchen towel during the class

Do's and Don'ts:

  • We cannot use any liquid content with our chocolate like milk or water. as it will turn hard on the surface.
  • Whenever you want to store your chocolates just do the wrapping part and put them in a normal refrigerator, not in the freezer.

Note:

  • Serving plate should be at room temperature not too hot.
  • To wrap chocolates you can use a wrapping sheet from the market and store them in the refrigerator.


A Red Velvet Dessert

Prince will teach kids to make red velvet desserts using a red velvet sponge, cherries, and mangoes. The mentor will discuss the ingredients that they are going to use for baking the cake. They also talk about the substitutes to make red velvet cake. Mentors will also share the tips on how to bake red velvet cake without using artificial colors. Let’s learn to bake a healthier version using beetroot pulp.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

INGREDIENTS (PRE-PREPARED)

  • Red sponge or any Sweetbread (15 pieces in small cubes)
  • Cherry or berries (1/2 Cup)
  • Mango (15 pieces - cut into cubes)
  • Cake sprinkle or nuts.(1/2 cup chopped)
  • Whipped cream (1 Cup - 50 grams) mixed with - Cream Cheese (50 grams)
  • Cocoa or Chocolate powder (1 tbsp- Unsweetened )
  • Sugar (2Tbsp)
  • Any essence (1 Tsp)
  • Wooden sticks (medium size not sharp)

GARNISHING:

  • Coloured sprinkles
  • Nuts(Crunched Almonds, walnuts, pistachio)
  • Roasted Mixed Seeds ( Optional)

EXTRA'S

  • Plate(hollow/flat plate)

SUBSTITUTES

  • In place of Cherries you can use Berries, Jamun, Strawberry (Not to be pulpy)

  • In place of whipped cream you can use Cream cheese or Condensed milk or Milk Maid.
  • In place of Cocoa powder you can use castor sugar or powdered sugar or regular sugar (can use jaggery too)
  • In place of Mango we can use Plum, Strawberries or Pineapples

  • Request parents to cut red velvet cake into small square cubes.


An Indo-Western Khoya Barfi with a Surprise Filling

Who doesn’t love Khoya Barfi? Hence, kids will learn to make delicious Khoya Barfi with surprise filling. In this session, the chef will teach kids to make khoya barfi with a twist. Kids will mix khoya barfi with cake sprinkles to give a shape to the dessert. The mentor will give your dessert an international twist with flavoured cream and will plate it beautifully. Kids will also get useful tips and a task towards the end of the session

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Indowestern Khoya Barfi

INGREDIENTS:

  • Khoya Barfi (Kaju Katli, Besan Barfi)
  • Walnuts (Chopped)
  • Sesame Seeds(White)
  • Cocoa Powder or Chocolate powder(Optional)
  • Edible Food Colour(Any Colour)
  • Rose Water(Optional)

FOR GARNISHING:

  • Edible Gold Sprinkles
  • Edible Flower or Rose or Sunflower or Marigold
  • Munch (Waffer Chocolate)
  • Whipped Cream
  • Cocoa Powder(Optional)

EXTRA'S:

  • Bowl (1 Qty)

NOTE:

  • Make sure you wash your hands before doing any cooking part.
  • Always put an edible flower in chilled water after cutting so that it will not damage
  • While plating you can use Rabri or Shrikhand instead of White cream.


A Mango Mousse Cake

The mentor will explain the recipes for Mango Mousse and Chocolate art in this session. Masterchef Prince used simple ingredients like cream, fruits, sugar, and butter that can be easily available at home. Kids learn to make mango mousse with some useful tips. Kids will learn to plate the mango mousse cake. The mentor will also teach them to make some chocolate art in the second half that will be used to decorate the mousse cake.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Ingredients for Mousse Cake

  • Whipped cream (1 cup)
  • melted white chocolate (1/2 cup)
  • caster sugar or normal sugar (1/2cup)
  • Mango chunks (1/2cup)
  • Crushed Mango(1 cup)
  • Edible flowers (few)
  • White chocolate melted 1cup.
  • Butter sheet or OHB sheet (2 or 3 Qty)
  • Butter
  • Deep bowl for mixing
  • Small plates
  • Cookie-cutter or Katori
  • Stick or Fork
  • Glass (1 Qty)
  • Scopper (1 Qty)

Substitutes:

  • In place of caster sugar we can use jaggery or normal powdered sugar
  • Fresh or Homemade Cream can be used in place of whipped cream
  • In place of Mango crush you can use Strawberry or Pineapple or Kiwi or Chiku or any of your favorite pulpy (But not citrus items).
  • In place of a Cookie cutter we can use a small Katori or small bowl.
  • In place of edible flower, Mint leaves can be used
  • In place of white chocolate you can use gelatine powder of any flavor that matches your dish

A Chocolate Truffle Candy

The mentor will teach the techniques for making chocolate truffle candy using nuts and dark chocolate. With easy-to-follow steps, kids will start making candies. They will also be learning to decorate candy using candy wrapping paper. To keep it interesting, mentor Prince will ask questions in between. The mentor will share tips to store candies. He will also share some tips for adding color to make candies delicious. Kids will also learn to make surprise candy that they can give to somebody.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Melted Dark chocolate (1 cup)
  • Fresh Cream Warm 1/3 cup (Lukewarm)
  • Nuts Mix (1/2 cup)

  • Wrapping sheet shiny (Gift wrap glossy sheet 1 Qty) cut 10pc in small square size
  • Crushed Candy
  • Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Normal Chocolate
  • Crushed fruits (any of your choice)
  • Cake Sprinkles
  • Nuts or Pumpkin seeds or Apricot
  • Truffle Candy
  • Butter paper sheet

Bomb Alaska

By the end of this session, children will refine their food presentation skills as they will learn to prepare and decorate an edible bomb. Learn to prepare the base of this dessert bomb using leftover cake. Add available ingredients in an appropriate quantity to add volume to the base as per mentor’s instructions. Kids will get an opportunity to showcase their presentation skills as they learn how to add different decorative items like cookie crumbs, sprinklers, whipped cream etc. to the base of the bomb.

MATERIAL REQUIRED:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Any Sponge cake (any flavour - plain, vanilla, strawberry or chocolate)
  • Whipped cream (1 cup)
  • Chocolate sauce (1/2 cup)
  • Peanut butter (1/2 cup) (Optional)
  • Bakery cookies (Any cookie to add crunch )

GARNISHING:

  • Sprinkles (Coloured)
  • Cake crumbles (Finely done)
  • Chocolate gems (1 pack)
  • Small chunks of your favourite fruit

SUBSTITUTE:

  • 2-3 Slice of sandwich bread and add strawberry flavour (In half cup of milk and add 2 spoons of strawberry crush and soak slowly on your bread)
  • Use 2 sizes of glasses (smaller and bigger) in replacement of cookie cutter
  • Choco spread (slightly milky and in liquid form)
  • Crushed candy in place of crumble

A Handmade Flavoured Chocolate

Master Chef Prince will teach kids to make a variety of flavoured chocolates. The mentor will guide kids as they indulge in chocolate making using different flavours. Kids will also learn about the types of chocolates available in the market. They’ll also learn how to melt chocolates. In the second half of this flameless cooking session, Master Chef Prince teaches little chefs to make flavoured chocolates with the help of white/normal chocolate.

PREPARATION & MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Preparation:

  • Crush all the candies and keep them separately
  • Melted white and Dark chocolate (1 cup each of any brand)
  • Nuts chopped.

Ingredients:

  • Candy or Chocolate (of your choice)
  • Butter sheet or OHB plastic sheet (1 or 2 Qty)

Optional:

  • Candies - ( Mango bite ,Alpenlibe ,Orange candy )
  • Sweet Fennel
  • Sweet Maroon Candy Balls
  • Roasted Mixed Seeds ( Sesame Seeds , Flax seeds, Watermelon Seeds )
  • Sunflower Seeds or Musk Melon Seeds or Pumpkin seeds (few needed)
  • Walnuts

Extra's:

  • Keep a set of Spoon's
  • 2 plates
  • Kitchen towel during the class

Do's and Don'ts:

  • We cannot use any liquid content with our chocolate like milk or water. as it will turn hard on the surface.
  • Whenever you want to store your chocolates just do the wrapping part and put them in a normal refrigerator, not in the freezer.

Note:

  • Serving plate should be at room temperature not too hot.
  • To wrap chocolates you can use a wrapping sheet from the market and store them in the refrigerator.


A Red Velvet Dessert

Prince will teach kids to make red velvet desserts using a red velvet sponge, cherries, and mangoes. The mentor will discuss the ingredients that they are going to use for baking the cake. They also talk about the substitutes to make red velvet cake. Mentors will also share the tips on how to bake red velvet cake without using artificial colors. Let’s learn to bake a healthier version using beetroot pulp.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

INGREDIENTS (PRE-PREPARED)

  • Red sponge or any Sweetbread (15 pieces in small cubes)
  • Cherry or berries (1/2 Cup)
  • Mango (15 pieces - cut into cubes)
  • Cake sprinkle or nuts.(1/2 cup chopped)
  • Whipped cream (1 Cup - 50 grams) mixed with - Cream Cheese (50 grams)
  • Cocoa or Chocolate powder (1 tbsp- Unsweetened )
  • Sugar (2Tbsp)
  • Any essence (1 Tsp)
  • Wooden sticks (medium size not sharp)

GARNISHING:

  • Coloured sprinkles
  • Nuts(Crunched Almonds, walnuts, pistachio)
  • Roasted Mixed Seeds ( Optional)

An Indo-Western Khoya Barfi with a Surprise Filling

Who doesn’t love Khoya Barfi? Hence, kids will learn to make delicious Khoya Barfi with surprise filling. In this session, the chef will teach kids to make khoya barfi with a twist. Kids will mix khoya barfi with cake sprinkles to give a shape to the dessert. The mentor will give your dessert an international twist with flavoured cream and will plate it beautifully. Kids will also get useful tips and a task towards the end of the session

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Indowestern Khoya Barfi

INGREDIENTS:

  • Khoya Barfi (Kaju Katli, Besan Barfi)
  • Walnuts (Chopped)
  • Sesame Seeds(White)
  • Cocoa Powder or Chocolate powder(Optional)
  • Edible Food Colour(Any Colour)
  • Rose Water(Optional)

FOR GARNISHING:

  • Edible Gold Sprinkles
  • Edible Flower or Rose or Sunflower or Marigold
  • Munch (Waffer Chocolate)
  • Whipped Cream

A Mango Mousse Cake

The mentor will explain the recipes for Mango Mousse and Chocolate art in this session. Masterchef Prince used simple ingredients like cream, fruits, sugar, and butter that can be easily available at home. Kids learn to make mango mousse with some useful tips. Kids will learn to plate the mango mousse cake. The mentor will also teach them to make some chocolate art in the second half that will be used to decorate the mousse cake.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Ingredients for Mousse Cake

  • Whipped cream (1 cup)
  • melted white chocolate (1/2 cup)
  • caster sugar or normal sugar (1/2cup)
  • Mango chunks (1/2cup)
  • Crushed Mango(1 cup)
  • Edible flowers (few)
  • White chocolate melted 1cup.
  • Butter sheet or OHB sheet (2 or 3 Qty)
  • Butter
  • Deep bowl for mixing
  • Small plates
  • Cookie-cutter or Katori
  • Stick or Fork
  • Glass (1 Qty)
  • Scopper (1 Qty)

Substitutes:

  • In place of caster sugar we can use jaggery or normal powdered sugar
  • Fresh or Homemade Cream can be used in place of whipped cream
  • In place of Mango crush you can use Strawberry or Pineapple or Kiwi or Chiku or any of your favorite pulpy (But not citrus items).
  • In place of a Cookie cutter we can use a small Katori or small bowl.
  • In place of edible flower, Mint leaves can be used
  • In place of white chocolate you can use gelatine powder of any flavor that matches your dish

A Chocolate Truffle Candy

The mentor will teach the techniques for making chocolate truffle candy using nuts and dark chocolate. With easy-to-follow steps, kids will start making candies. They will also be learning to decorate candy using candy wrapping paper. To keep it interesting, mentor Prince will ask questions in between. The mentor will share tips to store candies. He will also share some tips for adding color to make candies delicious. Kids will also learn to make surprise candy that they can give to somebody.

  • Melted Dark chocolate (1 cup)
  • Fresh Cream Warm 1/3 cup (Lukewarm)
  • Nuts Mix (1/2 cup)
  • Coco or coffee powder (Chocolate Powder 1/2 cup)
  • Wrapping sheet shiny (Gift wrap glossy sheet 1 Qty) cut 10pc in small square size
  • Crushed Candy
  • Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Normal Chocolate
  • Crushed fruits (any of your choice)

  • Nuts or Pumpkin seeds or Apricot
