Who doesn’t love Pentomino puzzles? In this session, learn about the meaning of Pentominoes and solve a puzzle by trying various possibilities and combinations. Kids will learn the easy way to make a puzzle and how to make a butterfly with it. Also, enhance your child’s creativity and imagination while learning amazing facts about maths.

MATERIAL REQUIRED-

  • Make a square grid having 6 rows and 10 columns ( on a notebook or maths sheet
  • Rough Notebook back cover or thick sheet or Cardboard (size same as that of the square grid)
  • Sketch pens or Crayons
  • Basic stationery( Pencil, Eraser, Big scale )
  • Child-friendly Scissors
  • Fevicol
  • Brush (optional)


Square In A Square

Let’s learn easy ways to make puzzles and concepts behind it with Nandita Ma’am. Get to learn about Quadrilaterals, congruent quadrilaterals, and the Making of Square in a square puzzle in this fun session. The child will learn about various quadrilateral shapes, congruence, and more. This session will also include the making of the puzzle – Disappearing Square in a square followed by a Beehive number puzzle.

MATERIAL REQUIRED-

  • Square grid (8 x 8 cm or 10 x 10cm) on plain paper or Math notebook with squares
  • Sketch pen – Black and any other color
  • Child-Friendly Scissors

Embedded Figures And Line Up Puzzle

In this session, kids will learn about Embedded figures and will be able to solve and attempt the questions confidently. They'll learn about embedded figures, a variety of questions about the concept, also the approach and methods for solving these problems. Line-up puzzles will help students improve their observational skills in this session.

MATERIALS REQUIRED-

  • Draw a square grid of 5 rows and 5 columns on plain paper or use a math notebook with squares
  • Basic Stationery ( Pencil, Eraser, Sharpner, and Scale)
  • Black Sketch Pen


Square Challenge And Riddle

While learning about squares and Rhombuses, your child's critical thinking and shape recognition will improve. With the use of puzzles and illustrations, the mentor will teach children how to observe square objects in their surroundings. Kids will learn how to create a simple puzzle and be encouraged to crack it themselves. The difference between square and Rhombus will be taught to the children. They will learn to try out different ways of matching puzzle pieces to form a square shape using either one, four, or five puzzle pieces.

  • Square sheet of papers (Any color) - (Qty 1)
  • Plain white sheet for the base (Optional)

Magic Triangle And Pyramid To Circle Puzzle

Get ready to observe triangle objects around you with Nandita Ma’am. Kids will learn strategies to solve and remember the magic triangle. The children will learn about Magic Triangle and its Characteristics. The mentor will teach kids circle puzzles by making kids analyse and determine the various combinations of numbers. A puzzle with counters/coins will be there to transform the pyramid layout into a circular arrangement under given conditions.

  • Math Notebook with square grid ( White Pages - Qty 2 )
  • Coloured Paper (Qty - 1 sheet for cutting 6 circles of coin size)
  • Marker
  • Basic Stationery ( Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, and Scale)

In this session, kids will arrange letters C E L. They will also learn about the right-angled triangle and hypotenuse. Making and solving a missing square puzzle will be fun and eye deceiving. Coin mirrors, the pattern puzzle, and the matchstick puzzle will also be there. The child will learn how to strategize and solve a coin mirror pattern and match stick puzzle.
