In this session, Shuruti Ma’am will teach kids how to create an account on Scratch, code saving, animation, and creating a program. Children will learn the concept of coding and its needs.

Introduction to Scratch

In this session, Shuruti Ma’am teaches you to create an account in Scratch and create your animation, developing a fun way to learn to code. The kids will also learn the concept of coding and its need and will try to make their account on Scratch.

Understanding Looks and loops

Scratch sprites are images that kids can create in the Scratch interface. Kids will learn about the movements of the sprites with the costumes while repeating the process multiple times to make it look convincing and visually appealing.

Understanding Sound and Make a Dance Party

Make your dance go on forever! In this session, Shuruti Ma’am will learn to add sound to each sprite using sound blocks. She will make kids learn how to implement all the blocks to make a dance party of dinosaurs. How cool is that?

Farm Animation

Take your coding skill a notch higher with farm animation. Kids will learn how to make an animation piece step by step, the importance of running small scripts to check the outcome. They will animate a farm where a hen will walk and a horse will run on the click. This activity will use motion, looks, and sound blocks to make the animation.

It's time to revise all the concepts that the mentor has taught you this far. Let the animator in your kid do wonders with this program.

Floating Paper clip and Pufferfish Experiment

Surface tension is a phenomenon in which the surface of a liquid, where the liquid is in contact with a gas, acts like a thin elastic sheet. In this session, kids will learn the concept of surface tension and the unique characteristics of the Porcupine pufferfish.

Floating Paper clip and Pufferfish Experiment

Surface tension is a phenomenon in which the surface of a liquid, where the liquid is in contact with a gas, acts like a thin elastic sheet. In this session, kids will learn the concept of surface tension and the unique characteristics of the Porcupine pufferfish.

Why does the Moon change its shape?

Kids have always been fascinated by the moon and the shape we see depends on the Moon's position. As the Moon travels around the Earth, it reflects sunlight. From Earth, we can only see the part of the Moon that is facing us. In this session, kids will learn about why the moon changes its shapes every night and its 8 different phases.

Multiplication Strategy - Doubling and Halving

The kids will be learning to simplify multiplications by doubling and halving numbers. It's one of the easiest multiplication strategies and our mentor is here to teach it in a fun way. The mentor will allow students to discover this strategy on their own through activities with arrays. The child will find the product of two numbers using this technique.
