Introduction to Musical Notes (Sargam) and Let's Sing "We Shall Overcome"

Let’s learn the basics of music. In this session, the mentor will teach kids about different genres of music and Seven Swaras of music (Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni, Sa). They are also going to learn the combination of vocals and instruments. Towards the end, kids will be singing ‘We Shall Overcome.’

Learn About "Pitch" & Let's Sing "Achyutam Keshavam Bhajan"

The mentor will teach kids about the vocal exercises & what Sargam is called in English. Children will learn to classify pitch relatively high and low. They will also learn about the alankars. Mentor will also teach them to increase the speed of suras. She is also teaching to increase the speed of suras. Towards the end, the mentor will teach them to sing "Achyutam Keshavam Bhajan" in this session.
