Do you want to improve your child's artistic abilities? The 'Traditional Art Forms' program provides a fantastic opportunity for kids to channel their inner Picasso. The program is broken down into two modules: Mythological Art with Number and Alphabet and Madhubani Art. Kids will enjoy creating simple artwork while honing their motor skills and creative expression skills.

Kids will learn mythological stories and symbolism while creating Mythological and Madhubani Art, and as a result, they will learn a lot about Indian culture.

Through Mythological and Madhubani Art, our mentor will tremendously inspire children to broaden their creative horizons and strengthen their artistic expression.

Since art requires precision and persistence, children's patience grows, and they begin to learn how to draw lines and fill colours precisely.
Nidhi Agarwal is a mentor for Art and Craft. Her 10 years of experience as a Montessori certified teacher helps her develop an engaging connection with the children, almost in no-time.
Session 1: Easy Art of Lord Ganesha with Number and Alphabet
In this session, you will learn to make Lord Ganesha using Alphabet U and Number 7 in a unique way. In a 50-minute-long class, Nidhi Ma’am will teach this art using water and poster colour.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
Session 2: Lingam (Shivlinga)
In this session , your child will learn to paint a Shivlinga using the alphabets r, u, and c, as well as the numbers 11 , 0 and sleeping lines. Nidhi Ma'am will teach you how to paint with watercolours and brushes in a simple step-by-step method.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
Session 3: Gautam Buddha (Part -1)
In this session, Nidhi Ma'am will teach our young artists how to draw Gautam Buddha's basic shapes using the alphabets V, U, C, as well as the numbers 11, 3, and also curvy lines and semi-circles. They will also learn how to use a scale to make measuring points on the big sheet so that the drawing is in the centre and the structure is exact.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
Session 4: Gautam Buddha (Part - 2)
This session is a continuation of Gautam Buddha's artwork Part 1 from the previous session. Using pencil colours and a Brush pen, Nidhi Ma’am will teach kids the important and simple techniques of colouring, shading, and strokes to complete the artwork.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
Finale : Lord Krishna Abstract Art (Part - 1)
This Finale session will be split into two parts. In this session, learn to make the basic shape of Lord Krishna in an abstract way using alphabets O, W, P, S, U, C, and numbers 7. Also, learn how to draw curvy and sleeping lines in a simple way. Nidhi will teach kids how to make a simple black border to highlight the painting and give it a professional look.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
Finale : Lord Krishna Abstract Art (Part - 2)
You will complete the previous Lord Krishna Abstract Art artwork in this session. Nidhi Ma'am teaches children how to begin colouring from the top to down in order to avoid colour blending while using posters and watercolours. To complete the painting, the children will learn different strokes such as round, up and down, and inside and outside strokes.
MATERIALS REQUIRED -
NOTE: Please keep any Thick Material or Notebook or Surface handy to put below the painting so that the painting does not get any creases or gets rounded off.
Session 1 : Let's Make A Fish Art Bookmark
In this session, kids will learn to make a stunning Fish bookmark. The mentor will use vibrant, bright, and eye-catchy colours therefore kids will be using sketch pens to colour it.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like scissors
Session 2 : Let's Make A Krishna Flute With Peacock Feather Bookmark Art
This session is all about Madhubani Art Bookmarks, and the kids will learn how to make a Krishna's flute with peacock feather bookmark out of simple materials and vibrant colours.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like scissors
Session 3 : Om with Lord Ganesha : (Part - 1)
This session is divided into 2 parts. In the first part, children will learn how to make Lord Ganesha's basic shape using the letter Om. They will learn how to write the letter Om, which will be transformed into Lord Ganesha. There will also be practising sets where children will draw OM and Ganesha on separate sheets to be more precise.
MATERIAL REQUIRED
Session 4 : Om with Lord Ganesha (Part - 2)
In the fourth session of Madhubani Art, Kids will be completing the previous artwork of Lord Ganesha. The mentor will teach little artists how to arrange necessary materials to complete the artwork She will also teach kids what sort of pens and sketch pens kids will be using and how. Later, kids will make eyes of Lord Ganesha.
MATERIAL REQUIRED
ALTERNATIVE - In case you do not have a White Gel pen, you can use a Black gel pen
Finale : Bird Sitting On A Tree Branch (Part - 1)
This finale session is divided into two parts. Children will learn how to draw a bird sitting on a tree branch. Nidhi Ma'am will teach the children how to put together the necessary materials for Madhubani Art, such as a scale, pencil, pens, sketch pens, and brush pens. The students will use the double line technique to make the basic structure of the bird on the branch with a border.
MATERIAL REQUIRED
Mentor's Note: Always try to use dark and bright colours and always make the double line.
Finale : Bird Sitting On A Tree Branch (Part : 2)
In this session, the children will complete the drawing by following all of the Madhubani Art steps. The bird will be decorated using Madhubani special shapes, and then beautiful bright colours will transform it into a stunning artwork.
